This constellation of legends from the world of Wagner, closely associated with the Gran Teatre del Liceu, marks the opera house's 175th-anniversary. Brilliant singers from different generations will perform.

Iréne Theorin and Waltraud Meier, the finest and most paradigmatic Isoldes and Brünnhildes of their generation, will be joined by the great Lise Davidsen, who is taking the torch. And while we dream about hearing her splendid interpretations, she will treat us to some excerpts from Fidelio.

The scenes from Richard Strauss's Elektra in part two will bring to mind Patrice Chéreau's production, which is already a myth in the Liceu's annals. Music director, Josep Pons, will be on the podium for this outstanding program.

This concert will write a golden page in the Liceu's history: make sure you're there!
