Cinema fora de lloc ("out of place") is an outdoor film screening program organized by the Barcelona International Women's Film Festival. From the end of May through early July, various places in Barcelona will host screenings of lesbian films from the 1990s and 2000s. All of these films, both current and from the archives, defend an experience of sexual and gender dissidence. Through occupying public spaces Cinema fora de lloc forms part of the community, celebrating gender, sexuality and female creators in cinema.
