The Piano Concerto No. 2 by Chopin is a work that combines melodic beauty with demanding piano technique. It's a piece that stands out for its romantic expressiveness, lyrical passages and ability to capture the attention of audiences everywhere. Composed between 1829 and 1830, it represents one of the most outstanding popular works in the piano repertoire.
The musician who will interpret Chopin's score for us comes from the 25th Ricard Viñes International Competition, which is held every two years at the Auditori Enric Granados in Lleida. In addition, Chopin's voice will be heard through the actress Emma Vilarasau, who will lend her words to the epistolary relationship between Frédéric Chopin and George Sand from the point of view of the French writer.
