Held for the first time in 1983, La Setmana del Llibre en Català has never missed its annual meeting with readers, with the exception of the years during the global pandemic. Now, after 40 editions, it has established itself as one of the most important cultural events in the country in terms of projection, business volume, participants, attendees and dissemination.

La Setmana is the meeting point for readers, writers, and publishers interested in historic and modern Catalan literature. The event aims to continue to promote the reading of books in Catalan, thus contributing to the growth of the number of readers in Catalan language.
