Join the Born’s greatest chefs as they open their kitchens to the public! Once again Pla de Palau square will be filled with gastronomy and music; for three days the Pla de Palau square becomes a great open-air gastronomic market where Barcelona Born Gourmet partners cook their best dishes live.

BORN Street Food is a unique gastronomic festival in the city of Barcelona, promoted by the Barcelona Born Gourmet association where chefs and gourmet shopkeepers from El Born take their kitchens on the street in a gastronomic offer open to the public. Grills, pans, fresh products and show cooking at the great Born food festival.

Attendees will be able to sample some of the best Mexican cuisine in Barcelona by Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana, cheeses from Vila Viniteca, rice dishes from Restaurant Cadaqués, the well-known Japanese tavern Ikoya Izakaya will be on site with its robata, Claudio and Yoel Vainberg from El Foro Restaurante will be cooking up Argentine fare, La Barra del 7 Portes brings historic rice dishes, Marc Villà‘s pasta from Bronzo Bar e Cuina, Jon Cake, with his famous artisan cheesecake and Llamber restaurant with the best from the Asturian and Catalan cuisine.

Sip on champagne, beer or wine provided by local bars or catch one of the chefs’ cooking demonstrations to really get a feel for the Born gastronomic community. DJs will also be spinning sets throughout the weekend.
