Beethoven composed Symphony No. 7 between 1811 and 1812, premiering in Vienna on December 8, 1813, with Beethoven himself conducting the orchestra. It is known for its dynamism, expressiveness and emotional impact. It has been admired for its contagious energy and its ability to transmit a wide range of emotions to the listener. It is one of the most outstanding works of the symphonic repertoire and continues to be performed and appreciated today.
Written in 1876, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations is a classic work for cello and orchestra that encapsulates the elegance and virtuosity of the Rococo period and encompasses a wide range of emotions, from melancholic serenity to playful vitality. The work is an outstanding example of Russian romantic music and one of the emblematic pieces for cello players.
Prokofiev's Classical Symphony stands out for its ingenuity, freshness and elegance, as well as for the fusion of the classical style with the modern musical language of the 20th century. It is a highly appreciated work, both for its melodic beauty and for its brilliant orchestration, thus earning it a prominent place in the symphonic repertoire.
