For a little over a decade, the duo formed by cellist Matthias Bartolomey and violinist Klemens Bittmann have been developing a repertoire centered on their own compositions and experimenting with new playing techniques on their respective instruments drawing from their experiences playing classical, jazz and improvised music. Their performances are a mixture of jazz, rock, chamber music and even a bit of pop, producing a music that jumps from powerful and fast-paced riffs to improvisations and dreamlike passages.
