American singer-songwriter Tori Sparks brings Nashville to Barcelona, with a vermut concert in the format "in the round” at El Teatre El Siglo in the Mercantic vintage village in Sant Cugat. This tenth edition of BCN ITR is a special blues edition, featuring Canadian songwriter and guitarist James Sedgwick, and fast-picking Argentine bluesman Chino Swingslide.
This style of show is typical of Nashville, but is almost completely unknown in Barcelona. Three singer-songwriters—sometimes friends and collaborators, sometimes total strangers—go on stage together and trade off playing their original material. Spontaneous collaborations, audience participation, the story behind the song, premieres of new songs... in these concerts pretty much anything can happen. It’s an opportunity to hear your favorite artists share their music in an intimate setting, while discovering other talented artists you’d never heard of before. Prepare yourself for a very special live music experience!
The concert is free with entry to the Mercantic village. Seating is limited.
