The Spanish music scene has been definitively influenced in recent decades by the presence of Cuban musicians, whose talent has served artists such as Ainhoa Arteta, Buika, Sole Giménez, Ojos de Brujo and Alejandro Sanz.
Two of these musicians are the tenor saxophonist Ariel Brínguez, former member of Irakere and grandson of the musical director of the legendary Los Fakires. The other is the pianist Iván Melon Lewis, who is currently a close collaborator of virtuosic violinist Ara Malikian, with whom he performs frequently.
This duo fully represents the colors and harmonies of their native Cuba: performing danzón, contradanza, son montuno and European classical music in a performance of a lifetime.
