"Argentina 1985" Open Air Cinema at L’illa

Argentina 1985, Santiago Miter (Argentina, 2022).

Inspired by the true story of prosecutor Julio Strassera, Luis Moreno Ocampo and their young legal team who dared to accuse—against all odds, against the clock and under constant threat—the high command of the bloody Argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983) in the so-called Judgment of the Boards in the mid-1980s. A battle of David against Goliath, with the least expected heroes. Film will be screened in original version (Spanish). 

Pack your own picnic to enjoy during the showing, or if you're short on time you can pick up take-away at one of the L'illa restaurants and settle in for a summer evening with family and friends. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at the L'illa website. General admission is €4.00 and if you would like a lawn chair it's an additional €2.00. Doors open at 21:00, film starts at 22:00.
