To say that Ara Malikian is a violinist is not a lie, but it is quite an understatement. More than anything, this Madrid-based musician of Armenian blood, born in Beirut in the middle of the Lebanese civil war, is a Trojan Horse who has spent much of his career infiltrating places that apparently do not correspond to him. In his own genre, Malikian is a strange element in a huge sports arena; his attitude also makes him an oddity in a theater or an auditorium. From the largest and most spectacular venues in the world to the most intimate theaters, Malikian and his violin have thrilled the audience, filling every corner of the room with unique sensations.
