This Hollywood drama is based on the events of the Apollo 13 lunar mission, astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) find everything going according to plan after leaving Earth's orbit. However, when an oxygen tank explodes, the scheduled moon landing is called off. Subsequent tensions within the crew and numerous technical problems threaten both the astronauts' survival and their safe return to Earth.

Before the film, enjoy one of the most irreverent, rigorous and crazy scientific monologues: If you get on a means of transportation and see Tom Hanks, get off! It's not a good idea to travel with this man—things always go wrong. Prior to the screening, the Scientific Monologues of Big Van Ciencia will unravel the science and technology of that NASA space mission that turned out rather average. Enjoy this theatrical show full of the most pioneering science related to the film Apollo 13 directed with the most intelligent humor. Although it may not seem like it at first glance, all the people from Big Van Ciencia that you will see on stage have a doctorate in science or technology! Doors open at 21:30, monologue at 22:00 and film at 22:30.

Tickets are €12 and include the Big Van Science monologue, open-air movie, access to the museum, the temporary exhibition and special activities open from 20:30 to 23:30 for adult audiences. Film will be screened in original version with Spanish subtitles.
