Anacronía, an ensemble specializing in performances using historical instruments, presents a program based on the musical evenings organized by Johann Christian Bach. Focusing on how different sounds were blended in those days, the modern musicians recreate the atmosphere of those concerts in an energetic, emotional performance.

They also include a piece by Murcian composer Juan Oliver Astorga, who was able to attend some of these sessions and became a friend and associate of the group. The program is completed by a work by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach that highlights the interaction of the viola de gamba and the harpsichord.
